I do love a purple tree. Named for someone’s favorite wine, Bordeaux, the thread color of the tree matches that of the blocks on the arch.
The Bordeaux tree is stitched using chain stitches and stem stitches placed in close rows. It looks a little bit like the tree is threatening the house but I’m sure they will soon be friends.
