I have a fondness for the land. As a farmer’s daughter I enjoy seeing rolling farm lands full of orderly promise of a good crop. But I also love the idea of scraggly weeds at a dilapidated fence line. No matter how hard we try, we can not contain nature.
This quilt was inspired by a hilltop view of central Michigan farm fields.
