I really loved making the embroideries in my new book Playful Free-Form Embroidery! Like this detail from the Nuthouse design, each of the 6 projects gives ample opportunity to play with color, texture, and pattern. My favorite part of creating the Nuthouse was adding these colorful garden flowers sprouting from the pinked edge of the green felt.
