See that Rascally Bird? Giveaway #4

Does the phrase “on pins and needles” conjure up the image of a bird dancing on your pincushion? For me, it does. Imagine a little bird flying into your sewing room and absconding with the strawberry on the pincushion. That is one nervy bird who is quick on his feet!

On Pins and Needles is another project in my new book Playful Free-Form Embroidery. It is made with wool fabric (from Tracy Trevethan) and stitched with my hand-dyed size 8 and 12 pearl cotton threads. He is a delight to stitch!

What’s This Week’s Giveaway?

Every Tuesday until the end of May I’m giving away items for the projects in Playful Free-Form Embroidery.

This week the gift is a skein of size 8 pearl cotton called Butter. Butter is used around the bird, on the strawberry, and to make the squares for the tablecloth. It’s a sunny color for a rascally bird.

Leave a comment below, and you may be the lucky winner!

Please note that the giveaway closes on Thursday, and I announce the winner on Friday. Meanwhile, if you’d like to see all the projects in the book, click here.
