How to Wind Size 12 Thread onto and Empty Spool

Open the skein into a loop. Drape the loop around your knee or have a friend hold the skein open between their hands (like you are winding a ball of yarn).
The tag holds the 2 ends of the thread skein. Snip just where the 2 ends are tied together to open the loop. Hand wind the thread onto an empty spool. Thank your friend and start stitching!
