People and Portraits Give Away

AQP CoverIt gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to peruse this book, Art Quilt Portfolio: People and Portraits by Martha Sielman. Why? Because the art quilts are so wonderful and I’m proud to know some of the artists in the book like Maria Elkins (her quilt is on the cover above.)

People and Portraits (also available from SAQA) is a lush book, full of strong art work. A visual binge of art quilts, if you will. The 21 featured artists use a variety of techniques and materials and styles. You’ll enjoy the interviews with the artists and Martha’s intro too. There is also work by an additional 100+ artists in the Gallery section. So everyone is happy!

Would you like to win this book? Lark Books has kindly offered to give one away to one of my blog readers today. Please leave a comment on the blog (today only) and you may be the lucky winner!
