July 2010 Newsletter- New Art!

Around this time of year there is a break from my teaching schedule and I get to spend time in my studio! Its an opportunity to make new fused art quilts like Pretty Planet #2 (right).

Maybe you need a little art break too!

To get you started, my gift to you this month for any Artfabrik order is a skein of our hand dyed thread in size 5 (our choice of color). While stitching on vacation, you'll need the right needle for your embroidery project. Check out this helpful needle and thread chart on our website.

If you'd like to see more Pretty Planet quilts in person, please visit an exhibit of my work at the Vale Craft Gallery in Chicago's River North Gallery District. This group exhibit extends through September 4, 2010.
