Planning Ahead?

listmakingDo you have to plan ahead all the time like me? What’s your secret for success?

One of my challenges is preparing for events that are weeks, months, or even a year ahead of now. It’s important to be organized so I’m not caught off guard. (I can’t not tell you have often this happens!)

Right now I’m preparing to teach several classes at World Quilt New England in Manchester, NH. One of them is called Another Nut House (based on actual experience.) Would you like to see what this class is all about? Here’s a link to a video so you can preview the class offering: click Another Nut House.

What I’m Doing Undercover Quilt-wise

Like the Inspector Clouseau of the quilt world, I’ve arrived in Denver on a secret mission. I can’t tell you much cause it’s …….secret. But I’ll give you a hint: it’s hot and steamy and I can’t talk about it.

OK, so it involves a hot and steamy iron. But I bet I had you wondering for a moment! You’ll also be happy to hear my luggage with a lot of important quilt stuff arrived safely. Safe arrival of luggage is something to celebrate so I had to take a picture. Stay tuned for more on my secret mission. You may call me Inspector Quiltsew.

Video with Accuquilt

While at the International Quilt Festival last fall, I was in the Accuquilt booth demonstrating the use of my new die, Kay’s Bouquets. True, I spent most of the time playing with the die and forgetting that I was supposed to engage customers. But it’s so darn enthralling!

I hope you enjoy this video of me and Accuquilt Lee talking and cutting it up. (Is it just me? Or does my mouth move and the words arrive later?)
