Before departing to Tennessee Quilts I manage to fit in a few more art making minutes. (I am so very happy!) Here’s how the little flowers are made for this quilt. Start with a 3/4″ by 6″ strip of fused fabric and trim each edge with a pinking or small scallop rotary cutter blade.
Now free cut bell shaped flowers using the decorative edges as the tops of the flowers. (Save the cut-away fabrics to use in the next quilt.) Tomorrow I’ll show you how the little blue flowers are used in another Gardener’s Plot quilt top.
